The candidate would join a multidisciplinary team of investigators conducting a study of a population of children at particular risk of developing Multiple Sclerosis. Working closely with an imaging scientist at SickKids, the candidate would contribute to the analysis and interpretation of neuroimaging data obtained from a longitudinal study of this population. In particular, the candidate would implement advanced analyses of diffusion tensor and magnetization transfer imaging data obtained as part of this study. This work would fit into a larger data analysis effort led by team members based in Montreal.
The qualified applicant should have a Masters of Science or Engineering degree or equivalent, 2 or more years experience with computational methods for analysis of neuroimaging data, and strong software development skills. Advanced training in mathematics, statistics, and neuroscience, as well as current research in demyelinating disorders would be an asset.
