Image of the Day

The images that appear in the "Image of the Day" are selected for the freshness of their views on Brain Mapping, their esthetic appeal, their quirkiness, or someimes just to prod you into thinking about the field and its context. Their appearance here is not an endorsement of their subject matter.

The Vanderbilt Brain Institute

The Vanderbilt Brain Institute is committed to activities that promote public awareness about the extraordinary advances in brain research and how those discoveries affect people’s lives. We coordinate Brainstorm – a month-long series of brain awareness events for the public that focuses on how the brain works and the importance of brain research to understanding, treating, and ultimately curing brain related diseases. We invite brain science experts to Nashville throughout the year to share their discoveries. And we partner with non-profit associations and health advocacy groups to conduct brain education and outreach programs.
